Solid balance of satisfying yet still familiar platforming, well designed levels, and challenging gameplay. The effort that went into a unique and delightful soundtrack is seriously appreciated! Little touches like the various powerups with a goblin wizard flair, a memorable ending, and a few hidden secrets makes this short and sweet Mario clone really shine. Recommended to a ton of my friends, we had a blast playing it and trying to beat each other's speeds. Thanks for making such a whimsical and fun game!
Very cute! The music reminds me a lot of early Famicom stuff, like the stuff Hudson Soft would make. The gameplay is a good approximation of Mario 1 though I wish Gob ran a little faster. That and I died once or twice from jumping on the knight's helmet. Great ending too, didn't expect that. Level design is pretty good and challenging as well. Good job Top Gob
These are some legally distinct levels. Music is lovely, got the AGDG room. I think a straight rip of the mechanics but with new and creative levels may make for a really entertaining game. The mechanics felt familiar and tight, the esthetics are nice. Keep going!
well done. you have made very fast progress, and the end result is solid fun. i liked the chiptune ost, really helped capture the vibe of the classics of old!
